Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and meet your Triploko representative. Begin the scenic transfer to Shillong on NH6, passing through the lush Assam plains and rolling Meghalayan foothills. En route, stop at Umiam Lake — a vast emerald reservoir encircled by pine hills — for photography and refreshments. Check in to your hotel in Shillong and spend the evening exploring the vibrant Police Bazaar market, sampling local Khasi street food and browsing handicraft stalls. Overnight in Shillong.

After breakfast and checkout, begin the drive to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 270 km, 5–6 hrs via NH27). The road winds through the vast Assam plains, passing lush green tea estates, bamboo groves, and glimpses of the mighty Brahmaputra river belt. Arrive at your riverside resort by mid-afternoon. After settling in, visit the Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park. Your naturalist guide delivers a brief orientation on the park's wildlife, zones, and safari rules. Begin your final morning with an optional guided bird-watching walk near the resort - Kaziranga's wetlands are especially active at first light.
